Insert LED handrail downlighter for cost-efficient installations and replacement fittings for retrofit handrail lighting M16x1 thread for 1st generation designs.
To achieve asymmetric projection across the walkway or stairs, install the handrail at a rotated position.
The body features a discreet shoulder to prevent total insertion. The screw-in design provides a positive mechanical fit with impressive resistance to vandal attack.

Screw-in
Drill a 15mm tapping hole and deburr.
Cut an M16 x 1mm pitch thread into the handrail.
Make electrical connections and screw in up to the bezel.
Suitable for handrails from 30mm diameter.

The screw-in body features a small bezel to stop Insert from disappearing into the handrail.

A choice of lenses from 16-94 degrees, creating a contrasting effect or consistent uniform illumination
Installation

Cut an M16 x 1mm pitch thread into the handrail.
Make electrical connections and screw in up to the bezel.
Dimming
Intensity can be controlled by protocols such as DALI, PWM and 1-10v dimming
Emergency Lighting
Handrail lighting is ideal for way-finding in an emergency situation.
Stand alone 3 hour emergency packs are available along with UPS-compatible LED drivers
Saltwater Resistant
The body and retention mechanism are all made of marine grade 316 stainless steel.
Insert is waterproof to IP67 - temporarily submersible even in saltwater.
