How many projectors do I need per metre?
On average, in outdoor metal handrails, projector spacings are 750 -1500mm for single lens fittings and 2400 - 4500mm for multiple lens designs such as Tri-Linear and Tripple Port Asymmetric.

However, standards for levels of illuminance vary wildly from 3 lux to 150 lux across varying widths of walkways and steps. For us to provide an accurate simulation of lighting levels, we require:
- Metal handrail Mounting Height
- Are opposing handrails illuminated, or one side only
- The distance across the Walkway or Stairs or the distance between handrails
- Length of metal handrail/design (Autocad Plans are always well received).
- Details of lighting specifications to be met, such as Lux levels and uniformity.
Once we have this information, you will receive a complete design, including cable loss calculations and a quotation.

Long Life & the Circular Economy
The LED assembly gives a very long life (around 100,000 hours). In addition, the retention components are in the same long-lasting 316 Stainless Steel. So, at the end of life, the fitting can be refurbished with the same replacement LED / Lens or built to a different configuration for an uncompromised new installation. The result will be a product as good in 27 years (10 hours use per day every day) as initially installed.
